NON-DENOMINATIONAL.

We are a blend of God's people coming from various denominational and independent backgrounds who have in common our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the authoritative Word of God (see link on "What We Believe"). We learn to love and appreciate each other as we worship with one heart that exalts our Lord Jesus Christ.

EVANGELICAL

Remaining true to God's Word and the plan of salvation by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8,9), we are in the mainstream of traditional Christianity. Our services are both orderly and Spirit led, joyful and, we believe, pleasing to our God.

BLENDED WORSHIP

Since our desire is to relate the worship experience to all age groups, our praise and worship time will incorporate worship choruses, hymns and even some of the newer songs of today.

BIBLE CENTERED

The teaching of God's Word is a priority, knowing that a knowledge of God's Word is essential to understanding the will of God for our daily lives. The preaching and teaching ministries of the church will therefore relate biblical truths to the experiences of your life.

MISSION MINDED

Helping to support some 25 missionaries world wide, we also support mission organizations and the Living Word Crusade, a short term ministry to various countries in association with churches in a given area. On Sunday mornings at 10:45 there is a Hispanic service in the Activities Center and a Chinese service in the educational building. Our desire is to reach our own "Jerusalem" as well as the "regions beyond."

PURPOSE STATEMENT

Living Word Church seeks to provide a spirtual oasis where through worship, fellowship and instruction each believer can "delight himself in the Lord," and "build himself up" in the faith. The fruit of these objectives will be a joyful congregation, eagerly serving the Lord and attempting through every possible means to reach those outisde of Christ with the good news of eternal salvation.
