Pastor Emeritus/Semi-Retired

Date Started on Staff: October 1978

Quote to live by: “Only one life; it will soon be past: Only what’s done for Christ will last.”

A random fact about me: I still receive royalties (not that much) from the song, “Water from the Rock,” written in 1968.

Favorite book, chapter, and verse of the Bible:  Book: The Book of Hebrews or whatever book I am preaching from at the time. Chapter: Romans 8 which begins with no condemnation and ends with no separation. Verse: Hebrews 6:10 – “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

Favorite thing about Living Word Church: What worshipers from many different church backgrounds bring to the greater church family.

Recommended Listening:  The fine mix of songs and outstanding preaching on Moody Keswick radio, 91.1FM.
